On Wednesday evening June 25, Gladwyne Firefighter Francis DeAngelo graduated from the Montgomery County Fire Academy with his Firefighter 1 certification. This certification is over 180 hours of formal instruction that is obtained in 4 blocks of instruction.

On hand to witness Francis’s outstanding achievement was Francis’s parents, Firefighter Gabe Leskusky, Assistant Chief Remillard and Chief Leis.

Congratulations Francis! We are all proud of you and are happy that you chose Gladwyne to dedicate your firefighting career to.
