Please join us in congratulating our Fire Chief Blaine Leis on his appointment to Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for the Township of Upper Merion! Chief Leis has been with Upper Merion since 2006 serving as patrolman, detective, Corporal, Sergeant and most recently Lieutenant.

Chief Leis has volunteered with Gladwyne since 1987 and held the rank of Chief since 2012. His talent, skills, and abilities here in Lower Merion have no doubt prepared him for this new role. We are very proud of Chief and wish him the best as he starts his newest position in Public Safety leadership.
