Two Lower Merion Fire Companies came together Monday night for an evening of training lead by Philadelphia’s finest. Former volunteers turned paid Philadelphia firemen Lt. John Riggs, Tim and Lt. Chris Murtaugh introduced current Gladwyne and Ardmore firefighter’s various tactics. The night was made extra helpful by live smoke training at a home donated to the Township Fire Office by a resident prior to its construction. All members were lucky to have such an opportunity and work together with our friends and colleagues from surrounding companies!
