GFC Water Rescue Team Assists Conshohocken Fire Department

Just after 3pm the Gladwyne Fire Company Water Rescue Team was dispatched to assist Conshohocken Fire Department for a water rescue in the Schuylkill River in the area of the Fayette Street Bridge. The original call came in reporting that a subject was seen jumping off the bridge into the river. Water rescue teams from Conshohocken Fire Department (Sta 35 & 36), George Clay Fire Company(Sta 39), Plymouth Fire Company (Sta 43), Spring Mill Fire Company (Sta 45), Lincoln Fire Company (Sta 56) and Gladwyne Fire Company (Sta 24) searched the river until just before 5pm when the search was called off
Great teamwork by all emergency responders in the cold weather.
