At 12:55 Wednesday afternoon, crews were dispatched to Lower Merion High School in Ardmore for a building fire. Initial reports described smoke from the roof, and medium smoke condition on the schools third floor. Fire officials found the source of the fire, a HVAC system, and put the fire under control.
Gladwyne's Air 24 responded, filling bottles for Ardmore Firefighters who went to work on the roof.
There were no injuries, and students were able to get one more class before ending the day! |
