On Thursday, May 3rd, Gladwyne Fire Company responded with the Air-24 to assist the Ardmore Fire Company at a hazardous material incident. The incident, located at Lancaster Avenue and Woodside Avenue, required the response of a specialized team from the Montgomery County's Hazardous Material Unit.
On scene, Air 24 provided breathing air support for firefighters using breathing apparatus and for the hazardous material entry team using level A protective suits.
