This morning just after 0720 hours Gladwyne Firefighters were alerted to respond and assist our neighbors in West Conshohocken (George Clay Fire Company) at a working house fire. Engine 24 (FAST) and AIR24 (First House Fire Response) were dispatched. Upon arrival of Engine 24 the crew of was immediately reassigned to the roof for ventilation. The crew made their way to the roof and opened up the roof. Air 24 arrived and filled SCBA cylinders for the interior firefighters. Additional Gladwyne volunteer crews stood by in Gladwyne with Ladder 24 and Engine 24-1 for any additional responses that were needed. Gladwyne Crews assisted in West Conshohocken for over 3 hours. Air 24 performed excellent on its inaugural response.
